I’ve been obsessed with fiction for nearly as long as I’ve been alive. Now I’m perpetuating the cycle by writing my own.
At present, I have yet to write or publish any novels, though not for lack of trying. In the meantime, I’ve been writing short stories, set in universes of my own creation. Whether you like swords and sorcery fantasy, or suburban fantasy, I’ve got you covered.
If you want anything that doesn’t fit into those two categories, ummm… I can’t help you.
Dadternity
The Dadternity universe is my latest creation, and was inspired by the dozens of people asking one important question: what if Dad was telling the story in a YA novel? You know, Dad. That guy who, if he gets to live past the first chapter, might have some feelings about how his kids are being romanced by 400-year-old vampires, werewolves, and seemingly every supernatural creature in a 100-mile radius?
How might he react? How might he try to protect his seemingly irresistable offspring from the predations of a supernatural world gone mad? How long of a nap is he going to need afterward?
One dad in Canada is about to find out, the poor bastard.

The Chupacabras Rises – Part 1
A quick note: this story is not about the titular Dad from Dadternity, but about a very fun side character. Enjoy. Chapter One – Oscar Pays His Dues The sun had almost completely set over the ranch, like an introverted party goer making its last…
Note: I’d like to give a special shout out to The Dad Who Lived over on TikTok. He’s doing a wonderful take on the same concept, and his work has inspired my own, to a degree.
The Stalwart Companions
In a world that frankly has no right to exist, is a city that shouldn’t have lasted nearly as long as it has: Kingsmount. As the epicenter of several historical cataclysms, and the birthplace of 67% of the world’s monsters, it is up to the good and righteous Hero Contingent to keep order, and keep the citizens safe.
Of course, the Heroes themselves make that somewhat difficult, well-meaning as most of them are. Some are anti-social in the extreme. Others are prone to fits of uncontrollable violence prompted by whatever it is that gave them their abilities. Others are just… odd. Odd in ways that make life harder for themselves, and everyone else.
And so it is the task of the Stalwart Companions to protect the city from the Heroes, come what may. These stories follow the efforts of these valiant sidekicks to wring order from the soaking wet laundry of chaos, and maintain peace… or something that looks a bit like it.

Death and Tacos
A day in the life of Death isn’t as bad as you’d think. === Author’s Note: This is a largely standalone story set in the Stalwart Companions universe, and I think it’s readable enough on its own. However, certain moments will certainly be more satisfying…
